Canada is often referred to as a cultural mosaic. Indeed, Canada is a multicultural nation. People from every cultural background are encouraged to maintain and develop their native customs and traditions. This rich cultural diversity makes Canada the ideal place to engage in international business. For Canadian entrepreneurs, exposure to various cultures provides insight on business perspectives and practices from around the world. In turn, new comers are able to learn the many nuances of western business culture from established Canadian entrepreneurs. That being said, new comers to Canada often lack the necessary western business experience required to successfully execute their business plan in Canada. With assistance from established Canadian partners, engaging in business can be made much easier. At K.B.L, we strongly believe that partnership between successful Chinese entrepreneurs and established Canadian companies is the key to success in Canada.
K.B.L is an immigration consulting firm that aims to help Chinese families with their move to Canada to enjoy a better life, high quality education, and successful careers. We encourage and promote the concept of partnership! It is our hope that more Canadian-based companies will take advantage of this exciting opportunity to partner with, and learn from, individuals from China who are looking to invest in the Canadian economy.
Every year, K.B.L sends four to six Chinese business delegations to New Brunswick for the purpose of identifying potential business opportunities with local Canadian business owners, as well as attending immigration interviews with the Government of New Brunswick. Every delegation is warmly welcomed by provincial and municipal government representatives and local entrepreneurs. During the 10 day visit, delegates will gain a good understanding of New Brunswick through a rigorous orientation organized by K.B.L. Orientation topics include, but are not limited to, the following:
·Understanding the investing environment, economic trends, and the business operating mode in Canada
·Introduction to New Brunswick tax policies, social welfare system, education system, and general legal knowledge
·Introduction to New Brunswick culture and local Chinese community
·Attending meetings with the Economic Development Office and potential local business partners
